Suarez unleashes spectacular debut for Atletico Madrid

Luis Suarez spent most of his first game for Atletico Madrid sitting in the stands at an empty Wanda Metropolitano stadium watching his new team-mates winning without him, the odd 60 to 70 persons in the stands started to clap and chant Uruguayo! Uruguayo! with 20 minutes to go coach Diego Simeone brought on his new striker, Atletico were already winning 3-0 and with only 14 touches he scored twice and provided an assist and won a penalty to complete quite an astonishing debut.

Man City first home game for the 20/21 season ended in disaster as they went down 5-2 to Leicester City. Despite taking an early lead through Riyad Mahrez, the visitors managed to get behind City's defense on a number of occasions and when they did, they punished some hesitant defending. The Foxes were awarded three penalties with Jamie Vardy bagging a hat-trick in the 5-2 loss

Luis Suarez says goodbye to Barcelona

       

Luis Suarez bid an emotional farewell to Barcelona after being at Camp Nou for 6 years, during his time at Barcelona he scored 198 goals in 283 games to rank third on Barca's all time leading goal scorers list.

The 33 year old Uruguayan moved to Atletico Madrid a few days ago after FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid reached an agreement. The Madrid club will pay FC Barcelona 6 million euros.

Liverpool Hoping To Continue 100% Start to EPL

Liverpool meet fellow unbeaten team Arsenal on Monday night as EPL action continue, the Reds will be hoping to continue their unbeaten run, while the Gunners will be hoping to cause some major problems for the defending champion at Anfield.

Arsenal have defeated new boys Fulham and fellow Londoners West Ham United 3-0 and 2-1 respectively, while the champions staretd of with a 4-3 thriller to newly promoted Leeds FC and followed that up with a pedestrain 2-0 win at London Giants Chelsea thanks to a blunder by goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and a rash tackle by Andreas Christensen.
